  7. About the Open It! Viewer

The Open It! Viewer is a free desk accessory which opens Print It! files.  You can give the Open It! Viewer to your friends and associates.  If you own Open It!, your friends can open and copy from the Print It! files you send them.  They can also see some of the features of the commercial version of Open It!

  20. What You Need to Use the Open It! Viewer

  27. Installing the Open It! Viewer

  29. Install the Open It! Viewer in your System as you would any desk accessory, using the Font/DA Mover.

  33. About the Open It! Viewer

  35. Use the Open It! Viewer to view or print a document printed to disk with Print It!.  You can also use the Open It! Viewer to cut and paste text or graphics to and from the Clipboard (you can then use the text or graphics with any Macintosh application that uses the Clipboard).

  39. What's in the Open It! Viewer

The Open It! Viewer allows you to open documents printed to disk using Print It!.  You can select some or all of such a document and copy it to the Clipboard, with or without scaling.  You can print Print It! documents, and use the Rulers feature to measure them on-screen.  You can also open alternate font files, and change the fonts used in Print It! documents.  Also, Open It! allows you to add to and delete from Scrapbook files, making it a complete Scrapbook replacement.

  45. What's Not in the Open It! Viewer

The Open It! Viewer does not come with Print It!, the Chooser driver that lets you print to disk from any application.  The Open It! Viewer can't open the resources of files as Open It! can--a handy feature that lets you access any file's ICONs, PICTs, and other resources.  You can't open all the file formats that Open It! is capable of: MacPaint, PICT, PICTII, Glue¿, Scrapbook, and Startup Screen or save your Print It! files in these other formats as Open It! can.  To get the full benefits of Open It!, visit your local software dealer.
